Constructed in 1996 this chalet was one of the first in the chalet quater of La Tania, Courchevel and has very easy access to skiing and the telecabine, as well as the shops, bars, restaurants of this lovely resort frequented by families and friend groups alike.
There are many options for this chalet. At present it can be divided into 2 equal parts, just sharing the kitchen and dining room. It can be used as one large chalet for personal use, or run as a business. Equally, walls can be removed to increase the size and reduce the number of bedrooms to create a fantastic space for a family chalet.

This independent chalet is on 4 levels and has a total floor space of approximately 415m2 (including some areas of the top floor which are lower than 1.8m height). There are 14 bedrooms in total and these are of various types. Most of the bedrooms are double or twin rooms with en-suite facilities. There are also four small bunk bedrooms which are designed for families with children or for single adult occupancy. In total the chalet can currently accommodate up to 28 people.
The original architect designed this chalet for sale for commercial rental and with its unique capacity, it has always delivered a very high rate of occupation when in rental. Equally, a new owner could remove some of the interior walls to reduce the number of bedrooms and increase their size. In this way, the chalet would become a beautiful family home.
The chalet divides into two equal halves, with a separate staircase for each side. On the main floor, there are two living rooms, each with a fireplace. The living rooms have a sliding wall to separate them if desired. Both halves of the chalet share the same dining room and kitchen.
On the basement level, there are large storage areas and four additional multi-purpose rooms, along with a shower room and WC, boot room with electric boot warmers and secondary food preparation area/laundry.

A beautiful place all year with highly defined seasons and quiet and tranquil out of the ski season when the crowds have gone home, and then suddenly once again each winter the mountains of the Three Valleys come alive with people enjoying this vast ski area... The largest linked skiing in the world. The Three Valleys ski domain provides more than 600km of runs and probably the same again off-piste. In fact it should now be called the Four Valleys with the link into Orelle (Maurienne Valley) which can be accessed by ski from Val Thorens. This has also opened up some extraordinary off-piste runs. The Three Valleys provides direct links between the ski resorts of St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Méribel, Mottaret, La Tania, Brides les Bains and the four Courchevel resorts, la Praz, 1550, 1650 and the world famous 1850 - and now Orelle, in the fourth valley - all under one ski pass offering on-piste skiing from 1300m all the way up to 3200m. As these figures show the Three Valleys ski area offers huge altitude differences favouring long run skiing. It has an ultra efficient, state of the art ski lift system, quality piste preparation and a dense artificial snow making system (1920 snow cannons) complementing the excellent natural snow cover. However, if you are not a fan of downhill skiing or like some variety during your stay then you can also roam the domain at your leisure on foot, hiking along the marked trails, or using the pedestrian ski lift passes. Many trails have been created especially to enjoy the increasingly popular snowshoeing sport and to discover the valleys from a new perspective: flora, wildlife, monuments, and spectacular scenery. There are also many cross-country skiing tracks that are prepared and maintained each day. These allow you to take in the breathtaking scenery and provide the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the mountains away from the pistes. An interesting and wonderful area all year round, there is much more here than the snow sports.
Opened in 1990 and built as an Olympic village for the competitors of Albertville 1992, La Tania is the best kept secret of the Three Valleys ski area.
La Tania is a super family friendly resort nestled amongst the spruce at 1400 metres altitude. The ski season runs from the second weekend in December all the way through until mid to late April with most of the runs down in to the village tree-lined and protected. Being part of the Three Valleys extensive network means La Tania benefits from huge investment in the resort, the lifts and snow making facilities.
The modern resort is completely pedestrianised, and designed sympathetically to fit in with its surroundings, with many charming purpose built ski chalets and apartment buildings created in wood and stone.
You’ll find the usual activities in winter and summer and many lovely restaurants (including the Michelin 1* Le Farcon) and fun bars and being only a 10 – 15 minutes drive (or hop on the ski-bus) to neighbouring Courchevel or Meribel you can take advantage of their facilities such as the climbing walls, large indoor swimming pools or ice-skating rinks for example
