The Chalet...

On the top floor is the huge living room / kitchen dining room. This is 130 m2 and has 3 distinct areas even though it is open plan.
The design is sharp and modern though exposed beams and brushed wood give the room a comfortable alpine feel.
The current owners rent the chalet for 100 % of the winter, and several of the summer weeks too. There is a growing demand in this area for prestigious property as there is little or no land available to construct such chalets close to the pistes.


The Area...

In the very centre of the Serre Chevalier Valley is Villeneuve La Salle. This is the heart of this wonderful ski domain and where one has very easy access to the rest of the ski area as well as Briancon Town.
The village has several lifts in different areas taking skiers up in to the high tree lined ski area. This means that queueing is vary rare, even in peak periods.
The village has a wonderful choice of bars and restaurants as well as a small commercial centre where the Tourist Office and ski schools are located.

Next year the village will host the finish of one of the biggest mountain stages of the Tour de France. This area is world famous for it’s road cycling as it lies right in the middle of the most famous of the mountain passes and gruelling ascents. Some of the 2030 winter Olympics events have been planned to be held in Serre Chevalier and Montgenevre. These events will undoubtedly benefit the lucky owners of prestigious properties like this.

The Valley is just 125 Kms ( 1 hr 25 mins ) from Turin airport and just 40 kms ( 45 minutes ) from Oulx TGV where one can take the high speed train directly to Paris.

Ski Area: Serre Chevalier

This “jewel in the crown” is one of the best kept secrets in the southern alps. Here the high tree line coupled with amazing off piste make it an all-round ski paradise. Unlike many other mountain resorts, The Serre Chevalier Valley is made up of many villages and hamlets as well as the town of Briancon, the highest town in France. Monetier Les Bains, the highest of the villages ,has a typical alpine atmosphere as well as having the beautiful open air spa baths. Here you can relax after a hard days ski and enjoy the magnificent views of the hanging glacier and snow capped peaks. Serre Chevalier isn't a purpose built resort and as such is an ideal place to consider having an alpine home with all of the facilities associated with normal living – transport, education and shops. At the same time this amazing resort is only a few kms away from hidden valleys, high mountain pastures and the vast Ecrin national park. Transport to Serre Chevalier is much easier than before with regular flights to both Grenoble and Turin airports.
