The location of this hotel/restaurant is its main asset. Nestling in the heart of a village in Haute-Savoie, this mountain establishment spans 711 m².
It has a large bar area, a restaurant/breakfast room with a capacity of 40 to 50 places, a kitchen and an office. Two terraces. Upstairs there are 22 bedrooms and a social room.
The basement has a laundry room, ski storage, boiler room, food storage, refrigerators and a freezer room.
It is linked to one of Europe's largest ski and mountain bike areas, ‘Les Portes du Soleil’.
The resort is very popular, with year-round residents and a well-known market, attracting local tourists as well as French and foreign customers. A paradise of sporting and adventure activities, in winter and summer, not dependent on skiing.
Imagine a pretty village nestled in the heart of the French Alps, where authentic mountain charm blends harmoniously with a range of dynamic year-round activities. Welcome to the Evian/Vallée d'Abondance region.
This typical Haute-Savoie building offers friendly comfort and is composed as follows:
Ground floor: An entrance hall leading to an office, a dining room seating around 50, a bar seating around 30 with a terrace seating 15, a catering kitchen and toilet facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility.
First floor: 6 bedrooms, each with a bathroom or shower room with WC, and a social room opening onto a terrace with a staircase leading to the ground floor terrace from the outside.
Second floor: 8 bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom or shower room with WC.
Third floor: 8 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom or shower room with WC.
Basement: Ski storage, laundry room, boiler room, food storage and storage areas, two wall-mounted fridges and a freezer room.
The ideal place for couples, families and groups looking for a mountain holiday.
In winter, activities include snowshoeing, downhill skiing, ski touring, cross-country skiing, biathlon, ice skating, dog sledding, mountaineering, as well as new sports such as airboarding, snake gliss, yooner, ski joëring, ice skating and ice driving.
The summer offer is well established in the municipality and the surrounding area, making it a veritable Eldorado for summer sports. There's hiking, via ferrata, climbing, cycling, downhill/enduro mountain biking, tree climbing and paragliding.
With numerous lakes and rivers nearby, fishing and whitewater sports (canoeing, hydrospeed, rafting, canyoning) are easily accessible.
What's more, the valley between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc is alive with festivals.
Taking advantage of the off-season and the closure of the competition, there is significant potential for development in both the restaurant and hotel sectors.
It should be noted that the restaurant, currently run by a single person in the kitchen, offers a very simple menu that could be improved, leading to an increase in the average ticket and the number of diners.
