A short walk from the door and you are in the centre of Val Claret to enjoy its many resto’s and après ski bars. There is a boulangerie, a pizza place and 2 Ski hire shops in the immediate vicinity.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor and benefits from South Facing Views from its balcony. It has recently been modernised and comprises an open plan living room, kitchen diner – with a cool breakfast bar. The bijou kitchen has everything you need including a washing machine, brand new unused dishwasher, electric oven and hob.
The living room leads out onto the balcony where you can enjoy the stunning views across to the Grand Motte and surrounding Mountains.

Located in one of the largest ski areas in the French Alps Tignes, linked to Val D’Isere, offers a ski terrain with over 300km of pistes. Spread between 1550m to 3450m in altitude, the resorts are high and therefore snow is guaranteed.
In winter, Tignes has one of the best offers, with everything from skiing, snowboarding, ski touring to piste basher rides, ski-doing, a micro light flight, snow tubing and even ice diving (not for the faint hearted).
There are many restaurants and bars to suit all tastes (and budgets) both on piste as well as in and around the resorts.
Summer in Tignes is a real draw to activity seekers also. You can enjoy a multitude of activities on the lake such as Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP), canoeing, kayaking, Pedal’eau, Zorbing and extreme water slides ! On the shores of the lake you can participate in Beach Volleyball, Soccer, Bike Pump Track, Basketball and an array of Inflatables. Mountain side you can try Paragliding, Via Ferrata and Mountain Biking – taking advantage of the many chair lifts adapted in the summer to carry your mountain bike up to the dizzy mountain heights. There is a Golf Driving Range, Mini Golf, Club House and Restaurant and an 18 hole Golf Course – the highest in Europe at 2100m altitude.

The legendary ski area of Espace Killy has over 300kms of marked piste and endless off-piste options - some of the most varied and exciting skiing you can find! The ski area links the two resorts of Val d'Isere and Tignes. Val d'Isere sits at approximately 1800 metres and is a truly modern alpine village. The pretty old town of snow filled streets and Savoyard stone buildings is home to the original village church built in 1664. The resort centre is lively and vibrant, with shops, restaurants and bars to suit any budget and taste, lining the wide, spacious main-street.Every season, during summer and winter, Val d'Isere hosts all sorts of events - from Savoyard festivals or fayres show-casing local produce such as cheeses, cured meats or lace. International sporting events like the Tour de France and the World Ski Championships often stage an event here. Music festivals are often hosted during the summer and winter 2010 welcomes a stage of the World Snow Polo Masters Series! The villages of Tignes are a little further down the valley towards Bourg St Maurice. Just like Val d'Isere, the ski area boasts wide, cruisey red runs, snow-parks for those who want to play and show off their tricks and quieter beginner areas where you can find your "skis" and build confidence - and of course immense off-piste itineraries, so much space you are bound to find untracked snow!The lively resort centre is a real haven for those looking for energetic après-ski and night-life - there are lots of bars, cafés, restaurants and night-clubs to entertain until the early hours. The centre is Le Lac, which was the original village. Recent remodelling work has improved its appearance dramatically. The Eurostar offers a regular service to Bourg Saint Maurice which is at the foot of Tignes, from here a taxi transfer can be arranged. Local Airports include Lyon (approx 140km), Geneva (130km), Chambery (80km) and Grenoble (120km).
