Modern apartment, furnished and equipped to go. 31.35m2 including bathroom and separate toilet. Fully equipped kitchenette. Free from any lease agreement at the end of March 2024. Recognized as the 4th valley access point to the 3 vallees ski domain...Orelle is an up and coming haven for alpine winter and summer activities. Widely known for its direct access to the highest point of the 3 vallees via the brand new high speed Orelle gondola, the village sings a number of advantages for investment and outright ownership for all alpine enthusiasts.
With a number of additional ski resorts within 25minutes, legendary alpine road passes and the Italian border.... owning an apartment here offers a huge amount of possibilities with easy transport connectivity that most resorts can't compete with.
Main rail stations and central motorways are within 15 minutes of the residence and with the construction of the main Lyon-Turin rail line, Orelle is set to develop quickly as a major hub for the 3 vallees via the rail station in St Jean.
The residence is popular with direct owners and investors alike. Apartments are either owned and used/rented directly or owned and then rented out by 3rd party local agencies to the flow of tourists looking for no-nonsense access to the ski area.
Having a link to the highest point of the 3 Vallées plus access to some of the most iconic summer activities in the Alps...gives a long rental season opportunity.
Whether you are just a dedicated snowsports enthusiast or also a committed summer cyclist/mountain activity fan, this location situates you in a magical place for access to all types of experiences, for all paces of life.
The apartment itself is in one of the buildings closest to the reception where you can find the spa, restaurant and shop. The free skibus leaves just 60 meters from the building.
Entering the apartment you arrive in the entrance hall with the toilet and bathroom to the right and cabin bunk area to the left. A few steps forward you enter the lounge dining area with balcony terrace window illuminating the room. From the terrace you look out over the Maurienne vallee and above to the mountain range.
The bedroom is situated to the right of the lounge and has a double bed. Again with a window letting in plenty of light.
The apartment is furnished for 6 and ready to go. The co-propriety charges are reasonable and inclusive of all but electricity and insurance.
The ski bus takes just 5 minutes to get to the lift and leaves every 15 minutes.
Just 25 mins by car from Orelle are the resorts of Valloire, Valmenier, Valfrejus, La Norma and Les Kerellis. Add another 10-20 mins and you are in another 4 resorts..... so much choice from your base in Orelle.
For even more of a cultural aspect... the Italian coast is just under 3 hours drive... not too bad for a short getaway in another country!

A beautiful place all year with highly defined seasons and quiet and tranquil out of the ski season when the crowds have gone home, and then suddenly once again each winter the mountains of the Three Valleys come alive with people enjoying this vast ski area... The largest linked skiing in the world. The Three Valleys ski domain provides more than 600km of runs and probably the same again off-piste. In fact it should now be called the Four Valleys with the link into Orelle (Maurienne Valley) which can be accessed by ski from Val Thorens. This has also opened up some extraordinary off-piste runs. The Three Valleys provides direct links between the ski resorts of St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Méribel, Mottaret, La Tania, Brides les Bains and the four Courchevel resorts, la Praz, 1550, 1650 and the world famous 1850 - and now Orelle, in the fourth valley - all under one ski pass offering on-piste skiing from 1300m all the way up to 3200m. As these figures show the Three Valleys ski area offers huge altitude differences favouring long run skiing. It has an ultra efficient, state of the art ski lift system, quality piste preparation and a dense artificial snow making system (1920 snow cannons) complementing the excellent natural snow cover. However, if you are not a fan of downhill skiing or like some variety during your stay then you can also roam the domain at your leisure on foot, hiking along the marked trails, or using the pedestrian ski lift passes. Many trails have been created especially to enjoy the increasingly popular snowshoeing sport and to discover the valleys from a new perspective: flora, wildlife, monuments, and spectacular scenery. There are also many cross-country skiing tracks that are prepared and maintained each day. These allow you to take in the breathtaking scenery and provide the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the mountains away from the pistes. An interesting and wonderful area all year round, there is much more here than the snow sports.
128 properties in Three ValleysFor the enthusiast looking for the best snow available it's difficult to beat Val Thorens, Europe's highest resort – the tourist office even guarantee their good snow; and what wonderful snow it is! Val Thorens is completely unique; a ski area carved out of the surrounding mountain wilderness and not for the faint hearted. This is a place of extremes; extreme cold, drops, wind, ice but also of outstanding beauty, incredible runs, views and thrills. This was one of my favourite ski holiday destinations before I moved here. The village itself, to my eye one of the better designed high altitude stations, gets more attractive as it continues to develop. Properties mostly consist of apartments and individual chalets are fairly rare, although more are being built. The local commune is constantly investing in the infrastructure which in turn continues to attract smart accommodation and restaurants including a Michelin starred restaurant Oxley’s – truly a great place to enjoy a sunny terraced lunch in style. There is something from everyone, from take away snack booths to top class eateries. Nightclubs to quiet bars ..... and Val Thorens knows how to party! The Dutch and the German following in this resort keep the bars full and jumping and there is lots of live music and fun to be had. On the other site of the coin it is also a good family resort as there is plenty of property right on or near the slopes and a wonderful activity centre and swimming pool. The Bowling alley and sports centre are also popular. For those who a thinking of buying here in order to enjoy a longer season and snatch a pre-Christmas or an May ski trip it is without doubt the best base, usually opening from mid-November to mid-May. Surprisingly it also has a brief summer season which see’s blue skies and warm breezes – but be warned - it has been known to snow here in July and August.
