Sainte Foy ski station 10-15 minutes
Villaroger into les Arcs 2000. 10 minutes to Villaroger and 8 minutes Gondola

Sainte Foy is a stunning picturesque ski resort built in traditional style with lauze slate roofs . Its small and perfect for families, but the off piste area is huge and challenging.

Summer in this part of the world is stunning and a great way to escape the heat and crowds.

The area has direct access to the many trails of the Vanoise National Park as well as the Italian border. Keen road cyclist will enjoy the many classic routes used by the tour du France. There are also many VTT tracks in the area with uplifts in the summer months .

Activites such as white water rafting , horse riding and high ropes are all within 15 minutes drive making Sainte Foy a great year round destination.

Ski Area: Tignes-Val d'Isère

The legendary ski area of Espace Killy has over 300kms of marked piste and endless off-piste options - some of the most varied and exciting skiing you can find! The ski area links the two resorts of Val d'Isere and Tignes. Val d'Isere sits at approximately 1800 metres and is a truly modern alpine village. The pretty old town of snow filled streets and Savoyard stone buildings is home to the original village church built in 1664. The resort centre is lively and vibrant, with shops, restaurants and bars to suit any budget and taste, lining the wide, spacious main-street.Every season, during summer and winter, Val d'Isere hosts all sorts of events - from Savoyard festivals or fayres show-casing local produce such as cheeses, cured meats or lace. International sporting events like the Tour de France and the World Ski Championships often stage an event here. Music festivals are often hosted during the summer and winter 2010 welcomes a stage of the World Snow Polo Masters Series! The villages of Tignes are a little further down the valley towards Bourg St Maurice. You will find a superb 18-hole golf course, organised activities on the lake, skiing on the glacier, beach volleyball and football and the usual mountain biking, walking and horse-riding.
