Property DescriptionThe Navette bus stops just a few metres outside the apartment and it’s a 5 minute bus ride to the main ski lifts (Pleney/Prodains). And just a 5 minute walk to the local bars, restaurants, cafes and amenities. From the private parking spaces to the front of the property, the main door gives access to a communal hall, shared with only one other apartment. An internal front door leads directly into the apartment, to an open hallway, ideal for storing outdoor coats, shoes etc.. This hallway leads into the main living room, which has a spacious seating / dining area with views to the west, towards the Pleney ski slopes and Morzine valley, with French doors to a wrap -around balcony. The kitchen too forms part of the open plan living space. It is modern and attractive, well equipped with integrated appliances and offers plenty of storage cupboards and drawers; the island provides additional units as well as a very convivial breakfast bar. Also leading off the hallway are 2 generous sized double bedrooms, both with integrated storage, and a beautifully tiled bathroom with bath and separate shower. Stairs lead down a level to a multipurpose room - one of those spaces you'll use to fit your lifestyle! Currently it serves as a laundry room, gym, office, but would also make an ideal kids' playroom / tv room - even extra sleeping space. Down one further level you come to another bedroom, which can sleep 3 people, and the second bathroom with walk-in shower. From this level, a door opens onto the terrace, with a gate leading into the private garden. The outside space really is what sets this apartment apart from all the rest! The huge terrace (125m2) with adjoining garden is where you'll live in the summer - with space to lounge, play, entertain, BBQ etc... The garden faces south and east with a cute little breakfast terrace for morning coffee; the terrace faces south and west so is the perfect spot for afternoons in the sun and warm summer evenings. There is a large shed for storage of all sports, play and garden equipment. This amazing apartment could be the ideal lock up and leave holiday home or a great permanent home in the perfect location.

The resorts are amongst the most well known, including Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, Abondance, Chatel and St Jean D’Aulps to name but a few.
They also offer excellent opportunities for downhill mountain bikers outside the winter months.
As a popular holiday destination in both summer and winter, these resorts offer investment potential. So whether you are looking for a quiet and peaceful family resort (Chatel or St Jean D'Aulps for example) or something a little more lively (Morzine) the Portes du Soleil has it all.
Within easy distance of the International Airport at Geneva plus close to Lake Geneva, this ski area is the perfect destination.
Morzine Ski Resort
Situated mid-way between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva, the ever popular resort of Morzine is absolutely stunning, well known for its Alpine scenery, nestled between forests and summits. Life is leisurely, and the village although vibrant and bustling has lost nothing of its original charm and Savoyard way of life. Ideally situated right in the middle of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is the gateway to a marvellous winter playground of 650 km of ski-slopes where you can ski from French into Switzerland and back again all in one day. When it comes to lunchtime you are spoilt for choice with all the mountain restaurants scattered everywhere.
In summer, these slopes become sign-posted footpaths for trekking and moutain biking. Originally life in Morzine was one of agriculture and slate-mines but with the opening of the ‘Grand Hotel’ (first tourist hotel built in the 1920’s) and its owner François Baud opened up a new opportunities for the village and it’s in habitants. Then in 1934 the Pleney cable car was opened and the thick covering of snow started some previously unknown sports: tobogganing, ski-jöring (towed behind a horse), the beginnings of downhill skiing and even ski-jumping!
If ski or snow boarding instruction is the order of the day there are avariety of French and English speaking Instructors in the ski schools.
There is a vast array of shops, bars and restaurants, offering plenty to non-skiers as well and for after ski fun. This makes Morzine a good all year round resot for those who live here and those with Holiday homes.
