Property Description

At €216.000 the chalet is for sale with the concrete lower ground floor walls in place and you can then finish the construction yourself or we can give you the price to have the chalet finished to various stages or fully completed. One of the photos shows a similar finished chalet. Ask us for the plans.

The accommodation would provide: Lower Ground Floor – Large storeroom, laundry room, double bedroom with en suite bathroom Ground Floor – Open plan living space with doors out to the balcony and south facing terrace. First Floor – Master bedroom with en suite bathroom, 2 bedrooms with doors out to a balcony and a bathroom. This is a great opportunity to buy a chalet with the groundwork and concrete walls completed leaving you the opportunity to finish the chalet. Some terracing work around the chalet has been done and there is enough land to do more and create a large garden or put in a swimming pool. There is space to construct a separate garage behind the chalet.

Bonnevaux is a charming Alpine village with a bar/restaurant and is only 70km from Geneva international airport. Morzine/Avoriaz is 20km or 35minutes by car and the closest skiing is in Abondance 5km or 10 minutes by car. In La Chapelle d’Abondance, 7km from Bonnevaux, you can access the Portes du Soleil ski domain. Abondance, Chatel, Morzine/Avoriaz and Les Gets are in the Portes du Soleil ski domain that spans two countries, France and Switzerland. The domain is vast with over 650km of slopes and plenty of challenging off-piste too. It consists of 14 resorts over France and Switzerland and the lift system allows skiers and boarders to cross borders freely and enjoy this winter adventure park. In the summer the slopes become mountain bike trails and they host competitions and family events.

Portes du Soleil Ski Area

600 km of skiing in 2 countries making the Portes du Soleil the biggest international ski area in the world.

Here skiing is a journey, with different panoramas and routes to look forward to every day, and each of our 12 village resorts offering a charm of their own.

The resorts are amongst the most well known, including Morzine, Avoriaz, Les Gets, Abondance, Chatel and St Jean DAulps to name but a few.

They also offer excellent opportunities for downhill mountain bikers outside the winter months.

As a popular holiday destination in both summer and winter, these resorts offer investment potential. So whether you are looking for a quiet and peaceful family resort (Chatel or St Jean D'Aulps for example) or something a little more lively (Morzine) the Portes du Soleil has it all.

Within easy distance of the International Airport at Geneva plus close to Lake Geneva, this ski area is the perfect destination.

Abondance Ski Resort

In the beautiful setting of the Abondance valley, at the gateway to the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil area, and just a few kilometres away from lake Geneva, there exists a village that offers a warm welcome, all the fun of the great outdoors in the heart of nature, and a preserved heritage.

Abondance is a skiing paradise in the winter with the pleasures of snowsports with all the family in the new Auffaz snow game area. For a quick escape, Abondance is linked by a regular shuttle bus service to the fantastic Portes du Soleil ski fields. For those who prefer trekking, Abondance has marked snowshoe paths, with guided trips organised by the Guides Office, and 10 km of cross-country ski tracks.

Abondance is also rich in culture with its exceptional abbey (church, cloisters and religious art museum), and la Maison du Val, the Abondance valley’s heritage centre. After a fun-filled day, you can taste some local cuisine, and especially the Berthoud, one of the valley’s specialities, made from melted Abondance cheese. The new ski resort in Abondance also boasts "Ludoffaz" the snow palyground located in the village center.

The village has all the amenities you need, bars, shops, restaurants and ski hire. The village is only 1hour 20 minutes from the international airport at Geneva.
