From here you can overlook the spectacular views of Lake Geneva, the Dents du Midi (Switzerland) and the Mont Blanc range. The altitude ranges between 950m and 2500m. Saint-Jean d'Aulps is good for intermediate skiers but also serves the experts and beginners well. There are a selection of restaurants and shops in the village. Nearby Morzine and Les Gets Morzine/Avoriaz (10 minutes) and Les Gets (15 minutes) are part of the Portes du Soleil ski domain that comprises of resorts that cross over from France into Switzerland. It is one of the Worlds largest ski areas with 650km of slopes and plenty of challenging off-piste.
In contrast, the summer offers some of best mountain biking terrain, boasting up to 380kms of marked trails with varying degrees of technical skill required. Furthermore, les Gets plays host to the International Crankworks festival each year, showcasing the talent within this extreme sport to it’s spine chilling max. Morzine is also proud to be a frequent host to the Tour de France and road cyclists from all over the world travel to test their endurance on the infamous local climbs.

St Jean d'Aulps Ski Resort
The ski resort of St Jean D'Aulps is a lovely, typically savoyard village with a small cable car which takes you to the local ski station, it has an array of bars and restaurants and all other local amenities you might want.
It is just 10 minutes drive to Morzine and 1 hour 20 minutes to the international airport at Geneva. This is a year round destination with the skiing and snowboarding throughout the Portes du Soleil area, walking, climbing, sailing (just 20 minutes away on Lac Leman)
A family resort in the Portes du Soleil ski area, Saint Jean d'Aulps offers skiers the grandiose backdrop of "le Roc d'Enfer" down to la Chèvrerie offering great view of Lake Geneva, the Dents du Midi and Mont Blanc.
