These are ski stations in the massive Portes du Soleil ski domain that offers 273 marked ski runs as well as 216 km of cross-country trails. For advanced skiers the off-piste skiing is challenging.
In summer these runs turn into a plethora of marked mountain biking and walking routes. There is swimming in the lakes and pools, cannoning, paragliding, horse riding and lots more. Lake Geneva is only 30 minutes away. At the end of October every year there is a large wine festival in St Jean D’Aulps where you can taste and buy wine from all over France. It lasts the whole weekend and the Saturday evening is always lively with music and dancing.
The nearest airport is in Geneva which is about an hour away and it’s a 9 nine hour drive from Calais.

St Jean d'Aulps Ski Resort
The ski resort of St Jean D'Aulps is a lovely, typically savoyard village with a small cable car which takes you to the local ski station, it has an array of bars and restaurants and all other local amenities you might want.
It is just 10 minutes drive to Morzine and 1 hour 20 minutes to the international airport at Geneva. This is a year round destination with the skiing and snowboarding throughout the Portes du Soleil area, walking, climbing, sailing (just 20 minutes away on Lac Leman)
A family resort in the Portes du Soleil ski area, Saint Jean d'Aulps offers skiers the grandiose backdrop of "le Roc d'Enfer" down to la Chèvrerie offering great view of Lake Geneva, the Dents du Midi and Mont Blanc.
