Three Valleys - Vallée de Belleville: Saint Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens

In the heart of the stunning Savoie region is the beautiful Belleville Valley, which makes up part of the world's largest linked ski resort, the Three Valleys. Whilst some of the resort has a purpose-built feel, this valley in general is (in my opinion) the most authentic and traditional-feeling of the whole Three Valleys, especially in and around the lovely year-round town of St Martin de Belleville. Higher up the valley is the multi award-winning resort of Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe – based at 2300m. Equally picturesque in the powder-filled winters as during the lush, green summer, this idyllic mountain spot is perfect as a base for skiing and for relaxing breaks throughout the year. Obviously there is always demand for properties here for rental, so you also have the potential to generate some income whilst owning a property in the area. To surmise – it is a wonderful location for a ski base, an investment opportunity or as a permanent home.
